Corn cob pipes start with specially grown corn that produces big, sturdy cobs. After harvest, the cobs are shelled, then aged for about two years so they dry and harden. They’re then cut, shaped, drilled, and finished into bowls, with some models even turned by hand. After sanding and coating, stems are added, everything is assembled, and the pipes are ready to ship worldwide.
